Captains' Presale for Summer Leagues Opens on Monday - Have your say on season length
The Captain's Pre-Sale for our Summer outdoor league will open next week on MONDAY, MARCH 10th.
We will be freezing the league prices at the same cost per game as last year.
Captain's Poll on Bye Weeks and Season Length - Do you prefer a 10-game or 12-game season?
Over the winter we had a few more bye weeks throughout the leagues than we had planned. This was due to dome closures, uneven bookings, weather cancelations and odd-numbered divisions. We want to try to make sure that we keep the number of bye weeks for teams to a minimum. To do that, we are considering making some of the summer seasons slightly longer than last summer, with no bye weeks planned and a slightly lower capacity of teams. Would you prefer
- Last year's format of: 10 games spread over 11 or 12 weeks with a team cost of $1250 ($125 per game)
- or change most leagues to: 12-games over 12 weeks with no bye weeks and a team cost of $1500 ($125 per game)
If we went to the longer season, the season would have more games, and every team would play every week, but the total cost would be more and the maximum number of teams would drop by about 10% on some nights. Either way, the cost per game remains the same
